FAQs

Can I cancel my order?

Once an order is placed, you cannot change or cancel the order. You may return the order upon delivery. 

Do you offer price adjustments?

Please reach out to our concierge team at concierge@marchesa.com with all relevant details of the item you are requesting an adjustment for consideration. 

Can I use more than one promotion code on an order?

Promotion codes cannot be combined on a single order. One code can be used at a time when placing an order.

Which payment methods are accepted?

We accept credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and more. You also have the option to pay with Paypal and Amazon Pay. We partner with Klarna as a buy now, pay later option.

Can I purchase extra fabric?

Unfortunately, we do not carry extra fabric for our styles. In an effort to be sustainable, we only order the amount needed to create the styles ordered.

Couture & Custom Orders

What is the process for ordering a couture gown and custom?
  • Couture gowns start at $10,000 and up, and availability depends on timeline, fabric sourcing, and design approval. 
  • Bespoke (Truly Custom) Orders – These are one-of-a-kind creations that start at $50,000 and up. Bridal starts at $80,000 and up. 
  • A $500 consultation deposit is required upfront, which is applied to the final order.
  • Once the client decides to proceed, a 50% deposit is required before the design process begins.
  • At the design presentation, the client is shown 4 sketches, along with curated fabric swatches, embroidery, and beading options, which can be interchanged or customized further. There are 2–3 fittings before final pickup or delivery of the gown.
How long does it take to create a couture gown?
  • Each Couture gown takes 3-4 months to complete, depending on complexity.
Can I request a custom version of a gown from a past collection?

Availability depends on timeline, fabric sourcing, and design approval.

Can I customize or alter an existing Marchesa design?

Yes

Can I request a different fabric or color for a gown?

Yes

What is the lead time for a custom or couture order?

3-4 months.

Can a custom gown be completed in time for my event?

We need at least 3 months to make custom gowns.

Can I make changes to a couture gown after placing the order?

No

Is it possible to try on a custom or couture gown before purchasing?

No

Can I schedule an in-person consultation or fitting for a custom or couture gown?

Yes
